This is NOT a group for beginners. It is about a level of expertise somewhere around intermediate or advanced. No porn, and no nudity. Family friendly art that everyone can view only. BKnight *_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_* Some questions have been asked by those whose art submissions have not been accepted as to why. In response, I would ask that you look at some of the images here that HAVE been accepted and compare what you have created to those. if yours seems like it might need a little more work then spend the time on it before submitting. Happy Manipulating! :) BKnight =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Ok - here's the criteria I look for, since it appears I'm not specific enough: 1. Shadows. Look for where your light is coming from. 2. Placement. Look up the rule of thirds, then use it. 3. Color. Garish may please your eye, but not mine. Use a color wheel or something. 4. Skill. White edges on something cut from the background and similar sloppy editing gets rejected. This group is about a certain level of expertise. I have said to look at what has been accepted as your guideline, which should help you decide on what to submit here. Quality and time spent don't always relate. Yesterday I spent an hour on something that I deleted because it wouldn't come together for me. I don't have the time to reply to each and every submission as to why it has been rejected. There aren't enough hours in the day for that. Take the time yourself and compare your prospective submission to what appears in the Featured or Favorites section. +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ |
